Default Remove Gold from Lexus Emblems
The Gold emblems on my 90 Lexus ls400 are fading into silver, I prefer the Silver and was thinking about replacing them, however I was told by someone that you can rub it out, I just didnt have time to ask him with what, do you guys know a safe way to rub out the Gold Color?

the front u can just polish the hell out of but the back ones are metal and gold plated (not painted) so that wont work.


i say scuff the hell out of them and then spray them black

I painted my front gold emblem on my RX300 silver.

Just like Pure said - I rubbed mine with steel wool and painted it black. It has been 5 months and it is still black
