Default Where to find idle control valve for 1991 Ls400?

I've seen it for $800 on a website. I thought the part was only $95.

Can anyone help me please?

I'm not exactly sure I need this part yet, but my power steering fluid is leaking and everyone mentions the idle control valve as the most likely culprit.

I'm gonna wait until after the p/s pump and new hoses get installed to see if that fixes the problem.

I just want to be prepared just in case.

Don't get confuse between idle control valve and power steering air control valve. The former attaches to the intake throttle body and the latter one attaches to power steering pump. If you cannot find any ps fluid leak and yet you're losing fluid, it's most likely the power steering air control valve (appr. $65).

My LS is a 93 model. I assume that the 91 uses the same part.

The part number is 17630-16040. It is $72.81 at www.toyotaworld.com.

The part is also used on the TT Supra. as well you can order either one.

Im just gonna remove the valve, plug it with a bolt/gasket and reroute the vacuum lines.

M14 x 1.50mm bolt, vacuum caps, $8 tops. Why buy a $100 part?

THANK YOU CUMAN. Not a bad price huh? It's nice that Lexus has atleast one part that is inexpensive that can fix a big problem.

I would replace it with the bolt/gasket as stated above. much cheaper and no chance of running into similar problem down the line.

AutoZone, Home Depot or any online auto hardware should have the bolt. - Google is your friend.

Is that something my mechanic would know how to do? I'm not a car guy.
