Default Curbed 16 inch LS400 chrome - rechrome, or new rim??

When I bought my 99 LS400, one of the stock 16 inch chromes had a good bit of curb on it.....not enough to make me walk from the deal, but it bugs me because the other 3 are flawless.

I've looked at the ebay "send us yours to chrome" deals, as well as some way overpriced OEM replacment type deals (up to 800 per rim??). What is the best option (and price) to fix this? I just need one rim.

It will always bug you... just as little door dings bug me...

Bite the bullet and do a "Chrome exchange" from E-Bay.... I did it and couldn't be happier!

Good luck!

Or you could check locally for a refinisher - In Houston we have similar shops that chrome for $100 or less. What about your spare - It may be chrome and is probably perfect - I am sure you checked it.

Dang I will have to check the spare...good call (durr I'm not used to a full sized spare)

I'll check locally; 100-200 sounds fair for a rechrome.

Don't pay more than $100 for just a refinishing of some scratches.

My spare tire isn't chrome, it is a full size spare but silver. I hope yours is!

Dammit! mine too...its like an older silver LS rim, not even the same design as my stock chromes?? Oh well.
Gonna call a couple shops to see if they refinish around here.
