When I purchased my 99 LS400, the drawer from under the drivers seat was missing.

I've also been told that it is lockable, so I'd prefer to have one made for the same key. Usually I'd buy parts online from a discount, but since it involves a key, I'm guessing I'll probably need to go to a local dealer.

Any suggestions other than the dealer? and if I do need to go to a dealer, the closest one to me is Nalley in Smyrna, GA. Are their parts prices okay or should I go elsewhere?

Um, unless I'm mistaken, that area underneath the seat is for a first-aid kit.

oh ok, well honestly I have no idea what actually goes there, I just saw the two sliders when I was cleaning out my car one day, and a friend with an LS told me that there is a lockable drawer there.

So, I was not aware that we had first aid kits in our cars...I learn something new everyday.

I always forgot about its existance. I would get cuts all the time, and never remember my first aid kit, it was brand new when I sold the LS. On other Lexus models, they are in the trunk, where owners always take them out, so you never really see them, unless you bought the car new.
