Default Rear sub-frame/diff cradle questions

Hey everyone,

I doubt anyone will know this, but how different are the rear sub-frame/diff cradles in the GS300/JZA80 and JZZ30?

I know it will be a custom job and I’m prepared to have new mount tabs tig’d on as I’m desperately after other possible options for a decent rear end in my first Gen LS400. (Diff options cheap big brake upgrades ect).

I’m looking at doing a complete rear end swap; EG brake to brake. I’ve have swapped different rear cradle’s into other model’s of cars before, although they were Nissan’s and it were a direct fit process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated with any info or even photos of the rear ends!

no idea.

i do know that the diffs themselves will not fit into the LS w/o major fabbing since theres only 3 mounting tabs on the LS diff but 4 on the supra/sc/aristo.

Yeah I thought that was the case with the diff tabs, shame too, as we need more aftermarket support for these cars!

I did a quick search and some guy from Thailand said he put a TT supra diff in his LS, but modified the tabs on the cradle or something? Wasn’t too much info unfortunately.

Keep the bell housing or pumpkin and swap the internals to get the lsd and pick which gear ratio you want.
