Default Seat belt broken?!?

My passenger side seat belt will not retract or pull out properly. When trying to pull it out when you first ender the car, it will lock so it won't move any futher. And once it has been buckled if you try to tighten it, it won't retract. WHAt do I do?

I have a 94 LS400. Any tutorials or part I need?

nope, its jsut dead.

dealer is ur only option for parts since most salvage yards wont sell the seatbelts off a car.

Default Seat belt

That's strange, I've seen them for sale on Ebay and different parts stores online.

I think my seat belt might be twisted inside the panel near the door. How do I take that off?

I took mine apart while ago to replace my courtesy switches....and I realized there was so much crap & hair in the lil motor it was makin it stick.

If you search around there's a guy that put up a lil tutorial to clean / fix the motor.

yeah, i'm pretty sure anyone can clean those retractors and re-lube them..

though autozone lists seat belt retractors on their website as a part they carry ...not sure how accurate that is but i'm betting they just might sell them.
