I have looked and searched this forum and i can't seem to find any writeup on how to replace the water pump on a XX400.

If anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it. Also, i don't know if there is a specific "mechanican" forum i should be posting this in...

btw, it should be much less work when replacing just the waterpump... not having to mess with timing and crank-pulley

Might as well do both when have your car apart. I can't think of any advantage as to having to tear your engine apart twice.
