Default newbie here

I just purchased a 1991....The Lexus bug has bitten. The car is immaculate with 187,000 on the odometer. My clock will lose it's time and show "1888" then go back to show the correct time. Is this an ERROR CODE?

Welcome to the board! There really has been a surge of new first gen's here, I'm excited! Unfortunately I've never heard of that problem. Sorry Hopefully someone else will chime in.

its the temperature that causes that and a common problem with many cars as long as it returns then all is ok
