1998 LS400 Acceleration Problem
I have a 1998 LS 400 with 48000 miles on it. I had a check engine light come on along with a VSC problem. When I tried to accelerate today it would take me a hard peddle to make the car move and a good 2-3 seconds before it would move. I put the car in neutral and gave it gas, the RPM's shot up as it would normal, however in drive, it would move as fast as it normally should.
I three days ago I changed the Battery and Front Head Lights.
Any thoughts on what type of problem it would be? Could it be a fuel filter? or something a little more problematic?

Your car could be in 'limp mode' because of the CEL and VSC.

Did a little searching - knew I'd experienced the VSC issue when I changed my battery in my 98 LS400... this may help
