I was browsing PlanetSoarer.com and looking at some of the stuff on there and saw that some of the people there had done shift kits for their V8 soarers... I hadn't even thought about doing that to the LS until then. I saw that http://www.importperformancetrans.com/toyotaauto.shtml has some kits listed as well as (i believe) full trannys.

Anyone have any first hand experience with a kitted LS? Too harsh? I'm going to have to replace solenoids and may end up doing a whole tranny rebuild anyway so it's a possibility...

IPT and Level10 both make valve body kits and other stuff for the LS trans.

not really much point to it though unless u have some motor mods...

I'm looking at a full rebuild and forced induction so like I said, if I'm going to have to do a teardown/rebuild on the tranny anyway I might as well do it all up.
