Default Rear 18x10 Fitment Issues?

Just wondering if there are any fitment issues for an 18x10 +44 wheel for the rear on a ls400. The fronts would be 17x9 +44. Also, what size tires you guys would you guys recomend?

thanks.

idk if i like the idea of a stagger on rim size (17+18) on the LS but i reserve my comments until i see pics.

i think that 18 is the bare minimum since the LS is such a big ****ing car.

245/45/ will be a good tire choice. If you lower it then you will have to lower the tire profile to accomodate.

i had problems fitting my front wheels in 19x8.5+33. the spokes are not clearing the front caliper. i'd say it's more because of the wheel design. i am going to buy spacers and extended lugs in order to make it fit. hopefully this will give you an idea of how close you're working at.

In all honesty I would drop down to 245/40 b/c that is the profile (40) I am running now; although I have 235/40 so my tire is not as wide as yours, however I am having no rub issues at all. My car is also lowered 1" on H&R springs. Not sure of 245/45 will rub or not, you may catch it going over large bumps and dips.
