I advise purchasing a torque converter from Swift Racing.

That will get the car moving VERY quickly off the line. They are also working on a cold air intake system and ECU reprogram that should add another 20hp or so. A full exhaust system will add some power but not much for the money and will make the car louder. Does your car have catalytic converters?
Anyway, serious power can be had with supercharging or nitrous. Again, SRT is supposed to release a supercharger system for the 3rd gen LS vehicles.
