Power Steering quiz
Read all the post /threads re P/S failures. Found one post with similar problem but no fixes offered.
So here's the deal. 1991 400 ls. No evidence of leaks anywhere. Fluid color and odor o.k. Pump started squeeling one morning, more so when wheels were being turned. I decided to add some conditioner. Noise went away but so did my P/S. Rebuild the pump with factory kit. Some of the noise is back but still no P/S.
Appreciate any pointers before I shell out a lot of time and $$ for solenoid and/or steering rack.
