Unhappy My UCF20 LS is dead (Major Accident!)

yes, the sig is true, my car is dead.

i cant really discuss the specifics of the accident til after the police finishes their investigations but i can tell you that the impact was at ~18-20 mph with a 2000 Toyota Tundra

pics:

both me and the driver of the truck were alright and walked away from it but my LS took the brunt of the damage. The tundra had a smashed up front end but it was mainly cosmetic+radiator more than anything.

no major injuries other than i was sore as hell for the next 5-6 days with some nice bruises from the dash and the seat belt.

this all happened Wed. 11-8 and sinec then i have picked up my replacement along with a lil "extra"

Glad you and the other driver walked away safe! That's the most important part.

I think that's just a reflection.

Yup, that's what really matters. If you haven't already, you should get checked up by the doc to make sure nothing's wrong.

Congrats on the replacement!

no,its a combination of sun refracting/reflecting off the smoke from the airbags.

Wow, sorry to hear about the accident. I was in one with the ES a few months ago. Pretty much the same scenario, a head-on collision with another car (Mustang) but the impact was harder at 30-40 mph. I walked away from the accident but the Mustang driver complained of chest pain and was taken in a stretcher to a hospital. If you're curious, you can find more info and pics of the accident from the link below my sig.

Glad you too walked away from the accident. It definitely shows how strong and safe Lexus vehicles are in the event of an accident. As someone mentioned before, it is recommended that you see a doctor after a collision like this. You WILL encounter some psychological/mental effects from your body even though they may not be apparent right now. Keep us updated bro

Glad you walked away from that one. But you seem to have done well in moving on, and replacing it

Wow, really sorry to see the pics of an accident that serious. Really glad to know that you and the other driver were OK. Just as everyone else has said, go and get checked by a doctor to ensure your continued well being.
