how did you get into VIP style LS'?
im new to the whole VIP culture with LS/Celsiors and i was wondering how yall got into it? I first got a taste thru playing an arcade game[yes, really], Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune2 and i bought a celsior and upgraded it with a body kit, rims, engine, etc and i looked at it and was like, daaamn. itd be awesome to own one of those. so ive been doing a little research and looking into possibly joining you guys in the VIP scene. i was also wondering if yall could post up pictures of your rides in this as well. thanks in advance and happy tuning!

I bought a 94 es300 in 96/97 and could not find a damn thing. So off to the oriental stores and found options magazine. I had no clue what it said but it had pics of my car. Then once i bought my LS it was a natural choice for JDM /VIP styled parts for me.

ive always been into the jdm scene. i jdm'ed out 95 acura integra gsr, 02 lexus is300, 93 acura integra gs, 90 mazda miata, and now a 91 lexus ls400. i also currently own a euro sedan 05 mercedes benz c23k kleemann that's also vip'ed out.

It was probably '87 when I picked up a Car Style and saw a concept Q45 and told myself one day. In the concept images, it was all black, lowered, with slightly oversized wheels. About '92 a mag had pics of a Celsior and the repair shop I was having service performed the owners had just bought a LS400. Seeing it in person I liked it much more.

ya theres a 93 ls400 for sale across form my work [target] and its got 109k, black. looks immaculate inside and out, no tint tho =/ and they want 7,900 for it...im interested in it but are ls4's reliable? cuase the purpose of my current ride, honda accord, was to get me to and from hs and possibly college. id love to own an ls and make it clean, nothing too over the top

I got into it cause living in Japan for almost 5 years will do it to you.
Today is my first day in Tucson AZ and I plan on doing some minor VIP to my 93 LS400, but not too much cause my wife will be driving it more than me. lol

i got started on the VIP after having drag cars,lifted trucks, and drift cars... kind of wanted something you dont really see here in cali often... its a totally different feeling when youre rolling in a VIP'd car... you dont really want to go back to stock... got to keep it gangsta... haha
