Just look for a lower mileage example...

Once a car hits a certain number of miles, it doest depreciate any further. I can tell you you'd probably find a car with 50-60K miles less for roughly the same money, but theres no way in **** id shell out 10 grand for a car thats 8 years old and has over 200K on the clock... lexus or not.

I have to admit, from the pictures the car looks really good for its miles and age.

Keep an eye on it and see if you can ****** it for under 7K, but you never know with eBay, there was a 180k '98 LS400 that went for over 10k on eBay a few weeks ago.

i was thinkin about 6 grand or less. I know its a lexus but most people would be afraid to buy a car that has over 200k. I would never pay ten. I NEVER pay KBB or TMV. I'm lookin for deals and steals. 200k is alot but i'm not scared. I was just lookin for a x-mas gift for my mom. Her mazda crapped out on her and she's drivin my White 93.

Ebay is crazy. I found my 3 Lexus's for steals but sometimes these newer LS400's go for crazy amounts. You never know what to expect. I've seen ls400 radios that work go for as little as 20 and as high a 100.

I'll have my eye on it.

well i just checked the auction. $7300 with 6 days still left! People are crazy. Somtimes these people (ie bidders) don't follow through. I will make sure to keep in contact with the seller. It looks grim. AGH!

From what I see, lots of Lexuses are going for more than Edmunds says, I wouldn`t sell my 99LS for what Edmunds says either, I think it worth more. But, again just because it is my car and I know it is in great shape.

OMG! 10,600 with 3 days left. this is over TMV! i could get one with half the mileage for 12k. People are dumb.
