Best tire for a 16" wheel LS , available in Sweden?? Tough call.

My 2 LS400's that are still on 16"s run a Kumho Solus, but we have no snow in Texas.

are the solus any good? I have heard good things. My 93 needs two new front tires.

Default Tires

Not sure when they made the change to 16's but my Dad has a 90 that was originally on 15" wheels.

For more Solus reviews see what customers that own them say at the Tirerack.

Note that the Tirerack also has a neat tool that allows you to enter your vehicle & research what tire combinations other consumers say work well for them.

yeah i've read those on tire rack. I wanted to know YOUR opinion on the tires, since you have two LS's. The LS crowd usually more sensative to different tires.

I have had Yokohamas & Bridgestone Turanzas & I prefer the Kumh Solus over them. It seems to be a great match for the LS Model but I could not even begin to tell you why this is so. If you want smooth & quiet this is a great tire.

My LS is on 235/45/18's & uses a Kumho SPT. I would not dream of going back to 16's but that is another issue.

I am not employed by Kumho nor am I a stock holder but i am considering the latter.

Default tires

Round ones and ones that hold air......lol

Bridgestones, Michellins or Dunlops would work.

I have Turanzes now, had Mich Pilot sports and oem duns before...

I have Kuhmo Ecsta 18's..I love them, but then again I only know the OEM I had on...and they were pretty damn worn.

My old tires were Michelin (Energy Series) before I upgraded years ago. They were great all season tires - lasted for over 50,000 miles.

Big improvements in ride & handling are easily acheived when you drop those oem Dunlops.

Dunlop -- absolutely not a good tire for me. I had Michelin's for years and they are pretty much top notch. I changed to Nitto 555 about 20k miles ago and they are a close second IMO.

The LS had 15's from 89-92, after that they were switched over to 16's as stock. As far as a stock tire, I had the Bridgestone Turanza's and they performed very well. Quiet and responsive.
