I'm not sure if we'll get all buyers input, but I figured I'd try with this thread.

Curious as to how many peeps have them on.

I was excited for them initially. For me, the rough projected expense of $1,200 to get that level of gain wasn't practical. What was the word on the passenger side install?

(not sure if you are kidding or not....)

Actually, the thread isn't about how many hundreds of people *didn't* buy them. I mean, that's a moot point right? If they are not bought, they certainly aren't installed. We're trying to find out how many are installed vs sold.
Someone has added that as an option for you though so feel free to click the button if ya like.

Gr8scot here in Toronto got a set for his 99 LS they are a major pain to install as the flanges match the GS not the LS exhaust . The gains are less than marginal. Better to get a TC or LSD for positive gains.
C's a defunct Japanese company used to make true tubular headers which were a work of art that make these things look like a joke. They are not made to just fit but flow tested and bent perfectly equal. i miss commrad

It's interesting that only one person in the LS forum has voted that they bought headers.

I won't argue that the TC or LSD are much much better investments, I do have them both. I'm not sure why you are trying to infer by "true tubular headers", but, the S&S headers are 'true headers'. So, maybe a better description would help? Perhaps you meant "Full Length"? That would make them 50 state ILLEGAL due to the cats of course.

Ditto the flange comment. What about the flange is bad for the LS motor? Too thick? Port shape wrong? Bolt holes don't line up? Got pictures?
