Question about tire cupping!

After researching the forum about tire cupping, I think I have come to the conclusion that my stuts are bad. I have a 1999 with stock suspension and 20 inch wheels. The tires just started to cup not too long ago. My question is if I drop the car and get springs and struts will the cupping go away over time? I was thinkin about waiting if the tires are not going to get any better, and just do it all in one shot! My thinking was if the tires is hopping up and down ever so slightly that with the new struts if will wear down the high parts in the tire. Has anyone ever had any success with this? Here is a pic of the car:

The 20's may be a bit much for the suspension so minute road changes will have them bouncing along. I see it frequently on the road with cars with big whees and stock suspensions. My suggestion is to update the suspension and you should see an improvement. That is presuming there are no other worn suspension parts that need to be replaced.

No I didn't get an alignment done after I got the wheels on. I was supposed to get the drop kit right after I put the wheels on, but that never happened. Once I get the drop kit I was going to get the alignment!

I will have to check out the suspension components! I have had big wheels on other cars and it has never been a problem! The cupping is not really all that bad I guess I am just a little anal!! Springs and struts should be on by the end of september. We'll see what happens!!!

Thanks for the replies! Sorry it took so long for me to get back, i had to take an emergency trip to North Carolina!
