I have taken trips with both my old 98GS and my current one, both on 20's down to Baltimore / DC area which is about 5 hrs away...luckily with no problems. I would say just stay on major interstates and you will lessen your chances of bending a wheel getting a flat, etc.
It would be nice to have a 20" spare too, tho.

Man, you bought em, floss em. Like Ebruce2 said, stay to the major highways on the way down and you should have no problems. Then when you get to your destination, just drive like you normally would around the city just keep in mind that you may have to be on higher alert as you aren't familiar with where all the holes are. LOL!!!! I have 18's on mine and road trips are a blast!!! Probably would be a good idea if you have some kind of road assistance available for you as well just in case.

I was actually thinking of getting a used Helo Spec that i could find off ebay or something and use it as a spare .... The car sits higher with the rims and if theres one spare then if would ride with one side down more.
Thanks, Aaron

Keep in mind its a 650 mile trip which took me 10 hrs last time and i averaged 26 MPG which is excellent but I dont think ill get that much with the rims on there considering the heavyness.

as long as you do balance and alignment you shouldnt have any problems.... i have had my 20's in my ls400 for a year now and have run over 3000 miles in the past year with those rims and had no flats on there
