93 LS 400 stereo probs
I drive a 93 LS400 w/Nakamichi stereo and integrated phone. Just recently I lost the sound in the right side speakers in CD mode. If i turn the volume up I get some sound and some crackling. In FM mode I have full power. I've checked all the connections to the head unit, amp, and cd changer in the trunk to no avail. I also tried disconnecting the battery to try to re-set the system and that didn't work.
I wonder if anyone else out there has any ideas to where the problem may lie.

Radio problem
I'm having identical problem with my 93 LS400 (radio right channel dead, CD will not play- showing "error") the left channel work OK. Don't know what to do. Thinking of replacing the radio with one I was on Ebay, but not sure if that will solve the problem or not. I don't want to waste time and money still stuck with same problem. If you find an answer , please pass it on and I would do the same.

You might try cleaning the laser in your CD player. I recall reading a similar 'error' display problem in this forum and they had suggested that.
Still have no answer to my problem. Difference with mine is the CD is playing and there is no 'error' message display. I wonder if it might have something to do with the factory phone.
