Exclamation Need help with finding posts

I have been looking and looking, on Ebay, etc, for chrome pillar posts for the doors of the 1990-1994 LS400 but cannot find them. I see only the newer LS model selections. Will someone please let me know how to get a set for my car? I just parked the car to get started on modifications. The help is greatly appreciated.

But before you peel the black film, make sure that is the look you are going for!!! There is no reversing the process, plus it is very sensitive to being scratched if not peeled with care.

Yeah... I don't trust myself well enough to remove the original black film from the doors. LOL. I have a couple of small scratches in the black film where the door jams to the back door... which is why i was looking for posts to cover it. I guess I can have the black reconditioned? Is that also possible? I mean... it's not regular paint. That stuff has a thickness and feel that is different from average paint. Can someone who has repaired the original black pillar posts shine some light on this topic for me? Thanks.

Yeah, I thought about that also, but it stands the chance of coming off and being an embarassment when people notice it's not the real thing. LOL. I will just look into repairing the black somehow. Maybe there is a rubberized paint of some kind out there. I will ask one of the guys from the auto collision shop nearby. Thanks for all your input.

I just ordered mine from here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DOOR-...QQcmdZViewItem

I know, that's for a GS, but that guy has them for 1st gen LS...it's probably in the process of relisting a new set right now since I just ordered one...

Check those out, I think they'll look nice..I have the same scratch issue as you.

Hope this helps.
