Dashboard/pad Replacement 92 LS
Fellas,
not sure where exactly to look for this one, but has anyone got any ideas as to where i would look for a new dash pad/ plus glovebox door (to match) for my 92 LS? Mine is looking a little tired and has started to show a couple of cracks (sun stress over 15 years im assuming) So would like to replace it....
I should note that I am in Australia as well..... so any ideas? Would Lexus be the only ones to do it themselves? ($ouch!)
Cheers

Hi Bren
Another Aussie here!
Had some cracks too.
got them fixed by a vinyl repairer. Try Uticolour.
Fixed really well. You can't tell it was ever cracked.
A replacement is a big and $$$$ job.

If you end up replacing the dash you'd have to go the used route. Buying the parts directly from Lexus could easily cost the present value of the car! I'd try repairing it first as has been suggested. Worse comes to worse you'll need to remove the dashboard to have it completely restored, but it sure beats buying a new one!
