hey Lexkost, wanna help me when i do mine

im looking for a set of IS350/GS430 wheels right now but if i cant find any in the pricerange ive set for myself then il most likely keep the stockers and redo the susp.

hoe much you guys think a set of Tein CS would go for used? between the similarly priced Tein CS and the JIC SF1's what would you guys choose?

Wald coilovers can slam the car to the ground literally. I have a set on my UCF20, and in my opinion, has made my car into a whole new beast. It's pretty stiff, 8k Front 6k Rear.

That was my first time doing an LS suspension, so everything was a learning experience...by now if I have to redo it, I can do it in less time.

You can actually lower / slam the car with any coilovers. I can literally lay frame on my LS if I crank the coils all the way to the last thread...but my fender was already resting on my tire after only 2 inches of drop.

got it for $1200 from Rodney at Japan Autobody. I see, i understand what you mean, for example. my car sits on the tires almost rubbing on the fenders, and i still have about 3" more of a drop avalaible.

Almost any.....can't lay the frame on the floor with Tein CS's.

PureDrifter, you need to clean out your PM box if you want a reply back from me.

alright guys, i just gave JIC USA a call.

final verdict is.....
they no longer make any replacement parts for the SF-1's or the SA-1's. they ONLY offer the FLT-A2's (which list for ~$1800 for our cars).

so now that JIC is outta the question, i think il go give tein a call and make sure they still offer shocks for the last gen. CS (they should, they JUST intro'd the new ones>.<_)

This could be compensated by adjusting the height to suit, if you were to run 20 coilovers in a 10, though?

Does anyone know if the Wald or JIC coilovers are height adjustable from the bottom? Like the pic I have attached below - Apposed to having to adjust the height by lowering the springs down.

The JIC FLT"s adjust from the bottom. You can crank the springs down or adjust the struts. You can adjust both if you want your car on the ground......
