Default 235/60/16"

i just saw four alloys off a 98 LS,on ebay but could they fit an92 LS the 98"s are 235/60/16"inches.Would i still get a smooth ride on them.could sombody tell me what to look for when the trans feels light?

not sure if the rims will fit, as I have a 92 myself. As far as tire size, it will fit under the fenders without rub. Is your car at stock height or lowered?? If lowered you will rub in the tops of the fender well. I currently run 225/60/16 and have a 1"drop. mine rubs over large bumps. As long as rims match up fitment wise, at stock height the tire size is fine. The ride will be greatly improved and cornering will be greater.

those arent stock tires sizes for a '98 LS. stock size is 225/60/R16

I don't know what the stock size for 98 is, but if it truly is 225/60/16 then they will fit fine with no problem at stock height. That is what I run now, and even at 1" lower height, I rub over large bumps. With lower height , should have run 225/50/16 so have no rub. this is pic with 225/60/16. at 1" lower height.
