Smile 90-94 to 98-00 , 02-03, 04+ front end conversion?

What conversion would you like us to make? I want to see what everyone's favorite front end is.. Also rear end.. if they were considering to do a conversion.

I've been browsing through japanese VIP magainzes for years, I've always been attracted to the 98-01 front end conversion on the 90-94 models. Of course I'de rather own a 98-01.

Since we manufacture body kits, I'de make a copy of whatever conversion I decide to do to my 1992 ls400.. I was thinking of 98-01, but then again, I've seen some LS430 style 02-03 and 04+ conversions on the UCF10 that were pretty amazing, except you can always tell the difference by looking at the door handles.

Here's what I found out, please correct me if I'm wrong..

We would produce fiberglass, fenders , hood, aftermarket style front bumper..

98-01 headlights , come in either halogen or HID... This might be the best alternative since not everyone wants to buy the OEM hid setup, also these seem to look the cleanest IMO. Downside, very hard to find used ones, might have to pay full price at the dealer.. However these only update the look of the car, by a couple of years..

02-03 headlights , Look great, easier to find used pairs, but.. Only available in HID? Customers wanting to do the conversion will have to purchase the OEM hid which could be costly.. Quite a noticeable update.

04+ headlights, Look even better, the newest look, however.. hard to find used pairs, and hid only, so you must purchase them from the dealer or scrounge around ebay forever until you find a set, and then purchase the HID... also they have the turning bulbs, I suppose you'de have to leave them stationary. Looks like a brand new car

Another thing to consider, a lot of the japanese VIP cars with headlight conversion of 02+ also had tail light conversions.. its seems the tail lights are very inexpensive for 95-01, 02+ so a tail light conversion kit might not be a bad idea.. (consisting of filler pieces, a replacement trunk, etc..)

So please let me know what you'de like as far as conversions go.. Also does anyone have any experience doing 02+ conversions? Would you have to replace the core support? How about 98-01 do you need to replace the core support on this as well?

Thanks.
(I know a lot of people don't want to do a ton of body work to their perfectly fine celsiors, but for the ones that do want to make a drastic change like this please let me know)

(not trying to sell anything yet, just trying to get an idea of what people want)

Default UCF31 Kouki

Actually, come to think of it.. the 98-00 conversion is a bolt on right? Well as far as fenders lining up with the door jam. I think the ideal conversion would be the Kouki UCF 31 04+ front end. This way UCF10/20 owners, could both use this conversion, and if the hood does not need to be modified, then even ucf30 zenki 01-03 owners could use the hood and bumper for a conversion, provided they had a set of 04+ fenders.

no it isnt. the UCF 21 body will NOT bolt onto the UCF10/11 cars without major modifications. they will however, bolt onto the UCF20 cars (95-97) since they share a similar chassis

im pretty sure it is impossible to make one kit for the 89-00 cars since there are 2 comepletely different chassis' between them.

Default UCF20-21 front end on UCF10/11

i would definitely be interested in a UCF21 front end for my UCF10.

What sort of cost?

The UCF30/31 looks a little inconsistent withthe lines of the UCF10/11 in MHO.

nope.
still only one company (maybe 2) in japan making the pieces, and they are still expensive as hell.

i believe it was Duce that made the kits.
