I NEED a Parking Brake Diagram

My wife engaged the parking brake last night and now it seems to be dragging or stuck a little bit. Does any one have a diagram of how this set-up works? I am going to take it apart when I get out of work and try to free it up.

What year is the car?
How do you know it is dragging?
Did you make sure the shock is returning the pedal to teh upright position?
