brake pad sensor cable broken
I was replacing the rear pads in my 94 ls400. On one wheel the cable for what I assume is the ABS speed sensor apparantly was deteriorated and broke in my hand. It looks like it is a short distance to a connection near the wheel.
I soldered the cable back together and the ABS light is not on but dont know how long the repair will work.
Anyone know the part number or have suggestions?
thanks

I believe what was broken was the brake pad WEAR sensor, not the ABS sensor. A new sensor is usually above $50 (from the dealer) and includes the wear sensor (attaches to one brake pad), wiring and connector.
