Default Not So Good Vibrations (LS400)

Got my 1993 LS400 back a week ago (about 250 miles). . .valve adjustment + tune up + T-Belt & W-Pump replacement.

From 0-40 RPM there is a noticeable vibration coming from the engine/underside of car. . .when your hand is on the gear shift it's definitely something you feel. . .same experience first thing in the morning (cold engine) and throughout the day (warmer engine).

BEFORE the major service my car purred at ALL RPMs. . .cold or warm engine.

I've never owned a V8 before. . .used to have a 1992 ES300. . .had about three major tune ups & valve jobs and never recall these vibrations.

What could be the problem . .what do I need to have checked?

Thank you in advance!

Default Worn Motor Mounts?

Sorry to ask. . .what are "motor mounts"? Is it relatively customary to replace these at only 165K? I can have a technician check after the holiday season. . .btw. . .what should I expect the parts to run me and # labor hours?

I'm still getting used to my used (1993) LS400. . .I was previously a 1992 ES300 owner. . .don't ever recall feeling these pretty loud and definitely annoying vibrations at 0-40 MPH. (Sorry if I said "RPM" before!)

Thank you in advance!

Default Missing/Slipping Mounts?

I just went to another independent to get a "second opinion" about what is causing the vibration "feel" at 0-40 MPH.

He feels it "may" have been possible that with major service all at once. . .tune-up, valve adjustment, t-belt and w-pump replacement. . .the engine mounts may have been disrupted and that checking these, and making any necessary adjustments, this might eliminate the vibration problem--basically he feels the engine may not be resting exactly the way it was before all the service work was done!

(I've owned my car for 500 miles now. . .the first 300 miles I drove it very, very critically. . .to get a 100% feel for the cars condition. . .then I did the major service. . .200 miles later I'm still feeling this noticeable vibration noise at 0-40 MPH. . .earlier today, while leaving my hand on the leather gear shift, not only could I feel the vibration but the shifter itself was shaking! Now I'm VERY worried about what could be wrong!)

Thank you in advance!
