Question Just bought LS-400 and have questions, problems :;(

Hi All,
Last week I bought LS-400 (I evaluated from camry 2,2 via two camry s 3.0) and now I own LS :-)
Unfortunately garage who checked car before buy doesn't find that no compression on the first (left side from radiator) cylinder :-( Tomorrow I go to authorized Toyota/lexus dealer for endoscopy of engine. I've alternative to buy used (in good condition engine) for $1k. If my engine will be damaged inside I'll replace engine.

But, my post initially was to ask you about two things. I'm looking for wiring diagram because today I saw that behind clamps (front side) there is an electric cable that goes close by shock absorber and goes to tin which covers brake plate . There is a connector and cable is cut 10cm after it.
I assume that is cable for gauge of brake pads - am I right ? Have you photo of this electric element or picture - how it looks like ?

ABS was checked on the road test - working fine - then I hope cut cable is not a ABS cable. I have no any errors (abs, check engine).

Do you have any ideas ?

Thank you

p.s. please forgive me my English

That wire could be for the Air struts, and the past owner might have converted to regular coils, and shocks. Does your shifter have a HEIGHT button to the left of it?

I think brake sensors were added in 93... plus you would get a seperate warning light in the dash.

Hi,
please take into consideration that my LS is for Europe not US (European versions are most equipped - faster about one year than in car for US). My car except navigation and air suspension is fully equipped - incl. rear seats heater :-)

Today I checked - broken wire is from brake sensor. - thank you all for response.

No, this was a standard in this (European) version of LS. I've a fog light switch on the same stick where lights are.

thats what hes talking about, OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufactorer. The fogs and bumper that are standard for your Euro-Spec model were never available here in the US.
