Chrome pillars underneath black on 91 LS...
I'll tell you what I found out today...the black a-pillars (between the front and back door windows) is chrome underneath...well, at least on my 91 LS. Just sit there and peel at the black and it's literally a black sticker and there's shiny chrome underneath.
No need for spending $500 on chrome a-pillars from Japan.

I scratched off some of that black sticker on the inner side of the car and its chrome

Well, I have only removed a section of the black sticker about the size of my finger nail and when I try to scratch it my finger nail just glides across it like it's real smooth chrome. My pillars have been peeling for a while I just never bothered to see what was underneath and its never rusted. It seems like it's smooth and shiny chrome. I'm just wondering what the best way to peel the black sticker off would be. DO NOT USE A RAZOR! Just thought I'd tell the guys that couldn't wait to get the black sticker off.

my a-pillars have been peeling for some time too an i see the chrome underneath but i was just going to paint them black again but if someone posts a way to get the black off completely ill chrome tha a-b pillars buy some chrome door handles and find a way to chrome the grill or buy a new one
