Celsior Oil Filter Same as '00 Avalon

Just found out that '00 Avalon oil filters fit '90-'94 Celsior. Part #90915-YZZD2.

Just wondering, can i use Toyota OEM oil 10w-30 for VVT-i engines on my Celsior? It only cost AU$27 compared to AU$83 Mobil 1.

you can use it, i know Fram/Wix/Purolator call for the same filter on all Toyota 6/8 cyl engines.

and yes, you can use 10W-30 oil in the 1UZ.

Yeah, I switch to 10-30 in hot weather. Then back to 5-30 in colder weather.

Other compatible filters

The Toyota Camry V6 and Holden Apollo V6 oil filters are the same part number as for the Gen 1 LS/Celsior and much cheaper!
