wow, i have no idea what its like to keep a car for 13 years. I usually get tired of it after 2-3 years, and want to try somthing new.

I mean, its like buying a car when your son is 5, and not selling it until he gets into college. Wow.

The 90 LS was a wonderful car during the entire 13 1/2 years and 183,000 miles I owned it. The current owner told me today that it is now at over 213,000 miles, runs great, and that he has been driven on lots of long trips. I would be driving it now if it had headlights that would allow a geezer like me to see to drive at night.

My dad got the 92 LS new and now it has 460000km on it.
Before the Lexus he always had cars from the company he worked for.
87 Mercedes 300E24
85 Mercedes 300E wrecked in 87 on the Autobahn
82 Mercedes 280E W123
82 Citroen CX Prestige only had it for a few month.
79 Mercedes 280 W123

All cars were new when he got them.

What made the Legend Coupe the best car you ever owned? How does the Legend compare to the LS400? Is the LS as fast? Which car is more smooth riding?? I always liked those Legend coupe bu I never got a change to drive one.
