Lowered frontend uneven....here's cure

When lowering an LS with Eibach springs the frontend drivers side will become an 1/4 lower than the passenger side (when measuring from top of tire to wheel well)...........So here is the cure I came up with, I made a 1/4 shim and installed it on top of the strut mount and now car is level in the frontend side to side...............Here's some pics:

Good thinking Mike. (Glad to see you working on the car again. )

It's that flippin' battery weight that screws it up for us. I took the battery out to do some other stuff and it evens out. :egads: On mine, the difference is about 1/8" depending how much gas is in the car.

Let us know how the alignment settings are.

I made it out of aluminum and it takes about 30 minutes to install.

RA40, In time yours will be 1/4" also........If you do yours I can make you a shim or you can alter your strut spacer, because you will have to delete it because the 3 studs will be to short to use both...............I had to bent my stb to fit.......................I am going to get an alignment soon,I will kept you informed.
