All White Exterior On 99 Ls 400
Just picked up a beautiful 99 LS 400 (49,000 miles) with an all white exterior.
I have never seen a monochromatic 99 LS (all have had the silver lower body color), yet I can detect no evidence of a repaint.
Was there such a thing as a production all white 99?

My all time favorite color. I've seen many ALL white LS's in the middle east, actually they are pretty much monotone unless you request the two-tone. Looks very good if you ask me.
NOTE: notice the EXTRA front moldings under the fog lights. Never seen those here, but they come with every LS over there.... gives it more of a lowered look. Not to mention the added headlight washers as standard equipment. They also have rear fog lights, and no side markers, but blinkers on the rear of the fenders instead.

Very interesting, and thank you. My machine does not have the spoiler under the front lip, nor does it have the headlight wipers. Frankly though, from some angles this automobile looks, to me at least, like a a very large refrigerator.

Thanks. Pictures...hmmm. I have a digital camera but I don't know if I possess the rocket science to post a picture. I'll see what I can do.

Hey congrats
That is one rare bird. No it did not come like that from the factory. Solid color was not an option on any LS until 2001. Now it may not "Look" like a repaint because it was a Top Quality job wich is fine. You never know maybe the origianl owner asked the dealer to do it before delivery. That would not be "Factory" but still new from day one. Dealers here in South Florida do all types of custom work to Lexus cars before delivery if asked.

Hmmmm.... re-reading Grand LS4's post above and considering the fact that I have never seen an all white 99 LS; I'm now wondering.
Could my machine have come from the Middle East, or perhaps been dropped shipped before it got there?
Think I'll get my Dremel tool out and do a little investigating on the underside of the rocker panel.

I LOVE MONOTONE. However, even if it was a customer paint job, what would be the problem? I mean its an LS400, I doubt the owner took it to MACO or something. Some paint jobs now a days match and exceed the factory specs if you look for the right place. There are a few here who went for the Monotone look, especially with the black LS's, I would too if my was white/black.
LET’S SEE SOME PICS

OK, got some pics, but on upload the attachment window runs out of memory.
My GF will be home shortly and maybe she can help me figure things out!

too atach a larger picture use a Photo Shop or something simular. Reduce the size to like 600x800 then do a Save as to you destop. When the pop-up asked about the quality level slide it doud to like level 9 or 10 from the max of 12. Or some other program with have a little tab when you saving it saying MORE, click there and you can adjust the size of the file quality from 0 to 100% set it to 80%. That will bring it down enough to upload it. If not just drop it down to 70%.

Congrats! Sweet looking LS!
I, too doubt it was intended to be shipped to the Middle East though. As Grand LS pointed out, its more like the Euro spec with have sideblinkers, etc. It would also comes with other obvious features like a metric speedometer and stuff.
I second that!
