Let me re-introduce myself,,,
Looks like I am back in the "L" crowd after my 1 year stint is over with my Benz. I just picked up a high mileage-ish 95 LS and have a few questions. It is so much like my former 90 LS, silver with grey interior and even has that funky Lexus smell. I do like the extra leg room in the rear, the 16" wheels and the wide body look, keyless entry is a big improvement, beeps and has the trunk release. Damn thing drives like a dream, all the options except for the dreaded air ride, lucky me!
Now to my questions please,
1) the trunk lid seems awful heavy, is there a part that fails down within the mechanism similar to the front hood struts? (BTW, my hood struts are fine!!)
2) The brakes seem a bit anemic, stops straight and with no shaking but they just seem to need a lot of pedal pressure. I was thinking they may need to be bled?
3) I hear a bit of groaning from what sounds like the power steering, plenty of fluid in there though. It only happens occasionally, any thoughts on either pump problems or racks causing the noise?
4) Anyone know how to program a new keyless entry remote?
Thanks for any help!

Welcome back to Lexus family and congrats on your purchase.
I am sure you will get the information you need from other fellow members with knowledge in the areas in question for the 95+ models. Just glad you are back with the "L" crowd.
