Unhappy Problem with Alarm on LS 400

I recently bought a LS 400 from my brother and got a great deal, unfortunately the key that deactivates the alarm is lost so I have not been locking the doors, anyway the other day the doors somehow got locked and the alarm set itself and now the starter will not work unless I take off a battery cable and replace the cable at the exact moment I turn the ignition key. I have to do this every time I start the car. I am trying to avoid taking it to a shop or the dealer as I need my car to get to work, I tried everthing the cars manual says to de-activate the alarm but it has not worked, I am just wondering if this is another Lexus quirk ( I too have the blinking console )
Does anyone have a suggestion?

A 93 LS right?
You lost the "Master Key" and "remote button keys" and you're using the valet key to start the car I am gathering........right?

You can order a set of remote keys as well as a master key through the parts dept at any Lexus dealership by giving them your VIN # and a copy of your title proving ownership.

These are the key #'s you need for your car if it's a 93LS.
Remote Key # 89705-50947
Master Key # 90999-00220

Talking Thanks for the help

Thank you Sharp LS for your help, I have a dealer close by, I guess I was not thinking that any information that I was asking would benefit thieves out there so I apologize for that. While I m at it I guess I will go ahead and get my blinking console replaced.
I apreciate all the help

If this dealer option does not work for you (it did not for me) Look on ebay there is a person sellingtwo uncut remote keys with a replacement chip, you can buy it now for $130, and he can cut the keys for you. The dealer told me that they no longer make the keys for the gen1, because its out dated technology, but that I could upgrade the system for about $300.

Those keys are readily available as far as I know. I would stay away from that dealership if he was just too lazy to place an order.

The transponder in the key and the ECU chip have to match, outside of that I dont know anything.
