Exclamation please help!! Suspension bottomed out

On friday night it was raining hard and I was traveling down a side street and hit a speed bump. I didn't see the speed bump until I went over it, and I was traveling about 20 mph max. Anyhow, my front drive side suspension completely gave out. I currently have 20 in rims on the car, I the wheel was completely inside the fender, I couldn't drive the car without rubbing so I had it towed to a shop. I won't know what is wrong until monday. Can anyone give some advice or have any experience with this happen before. I have not changed the suspension, it is all oem, it is a 94 with 80k. The rest of the car is fine, the wheel looks like a lowered the car severly, please help!

You have Air suspension, right?

If so, a strut must have given up, and in need of replacement.

I don't have the air suspension set up, it turns out that the coil spring broke and as a result I have to replace the strut assembly and spring
