for the people running UAS + BC Racing, is it possible to just order the strut from BC without the coil? Or did you just buy BC Coils and remove the coil spring? I'm just looking for something other than stock struts, and trying to avoid fabricating my own strut mounts and using an Air Lift strut.

Otherwise, for people running UAS, what struts are you using? Anybody running UAS w/stock struts?

Wsup guy I just bought a 1990 ls400 and I was wondering what coils I should get?i was thinking about bc,d2 racing and even Megan?what do you guys think?any suggestions?

1991 LS400, Megan EZ Street adjustable coilovers! Static or nothing

Ride is really nice, fronts could use a stiffer spring setup (I believe mine are 12k?) Mine cannot get anywhere near stiff enough on the front to get the fitment I want, i have it set about 1ish inch higher than I want to avoid major rubbing.

i'm on BC Racing coilovers (standard) with UAS aerosport bags all around. i bought the coilovers brand new from a third party so i was unable to preorder it directly from BC Racing. i'm sure you can have them valved for bags but they need to sell the whole setup as a set. yes you are right i just removed the coil spring, dust shield, and spring isolators (plastic rings) and replaced them with the UAS bags.

i prefer to have coilovers with bags for micro-adjustability but i understand it may be out of budget for a lot of folks, where bags alone cost just as much as coilovers. it is very possible to run stock struts with UAS bags, just notify UAS that you are doing so and they will provide the correct sets of bag brackets custom made for your order. they are i believe only $35 per bracket.

lots of GS guys run stock shocks with UAS bags but most eventually swap out for coils, or go with airrex struts nowadays. i've installed airrex struts and i personally would rather still use UAS over coilovers for serviceability since the bags are rebuildable by a domestic and local shop (UAS is in california, and made in the USA).

hi guys new here and am looking to lower my newlywed 1990 ls400

question
is there ANY INTERCHANGEABLE springs and struts w/ this car? aka maybe from a toyota celica camry ETC. that is a complete "plug and play"/ little to no modifications (these r examples as im new to toyota gang, was/am from honda gang)
for example 1992-1995 honda civic's suspensions are "plug and play" with no modifications with the 1994-2001 acura integra's
i was wondering if theres something similar for the ls400, if not i guess im stuck w/ buying one of these suspensions

reason im asking is because on honda-tech i read that all the japanese made d2/ksports function form megan, etc are a joke for suspension vs koni yellow / Ground control

and im really wanting to go get a set of ground control koni yellows (idk if they make em for cars that have interchangeable suspension wit hthe ls400 as koni & ground control dont make the combo for 1990 ls400 directly

is a 1990 LS400 suspension interchangeable w/ say 91-94?
