95 LS400 trunk won't stay up
Hi,
I have been lurking for over one year. Thanks to everyone on this board I learned a lot.
I searched the forum but could not find any answer.
My 95 LS400 trunk won't stay up. According to my local Toyota/Lexus specialist, 2 shocks need to be replaced. Both autozone.com and partsamerica.com don't carry this item.
Do I have to go to the dealer?
Anyone knows of a more economical way of doing this?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply.
I did search and found a thread in the SC forum. In that thread, the poster bought the strut from autozone.com or partsamerica.com. But I could not find it from both sites.
I posted this question again hoping someone has more update information.
I guess I will take one to my local Autozone.
