Confusing if you ask me.
I'm questioning whether this is the same vehicle from the exterior shots to the interior one. I see the same sales sheet on the dash both in the exterior shot and the interior one....BUT....... the front wheels are turned and the steering wheel is completely straight.???
I know if I happen to move my wheels slightly my steering wheel would be off.
I know the Asian models always have the options years in advance but still seems a bit confusing comparing that 95 Asian spec model interior to my 96 American spec one.
Some of you guys will understand what I'm referring to.
Click on each pic and you'll see what I mean.

EDIT:
Never mind, I answered my own question. That interior pic doesn't go with that car because if you click on any other 95 Asian model in the link below the interior is the same as ours here.
Question is now....what year does that interior go with? If you compare it to the 97, 98, or the 2000 in the link it doesn't match up with any of them. The steering wheel seems to be from a 94-96 and the Nav unit a 97+ according to Asian specs? Some things very fishy there.

Side note: Seems like cloth interior is very popular there unlike here.

I was pouring over a variety of VIP Car issues and had presumed that the UCF20 was the block headlight version only. Well, I was quite surprised to see a designated UCF20 with the teardrop headlights and non-VVTi engine. I don't know how to distinguish the 20/21 models.
Just like the pics posted for these cars you linked to.
Robert?

Puzzling isn't it Rob.
Now, do you see what I mean about having different steering wheels?
The Nav unit is from a 98+ but not the wheel.
Compare these two pic's.
http://219.163.170.34/img/4080187a.jpg ? Can't be a 98+ when the buttons aren't Incorporated into the wheel unless the steering wheel was changed for some reason which would be odd. Possibly that car had a wood one and someone swapped it???
Now this is a 98

I feel just as confused looking at the Nissan President variants too. Different grill and rear taillights but same body, this must be a JDM thing.
My take is that the exterior tear drop headlights of the '98 (as we know them) was started in late '97 for the JDM. I still see block headlight models designated as a UCF 21 and I recollect a pic with the VVTi engine. Add in sporadic pics with nav and wood steering wheels with controls.
I dunno but darn you for also noticing this.

Even we don't get those here. But we do get rear aircon and headlight washers
