Turbo'ing an LS430 is one thing, but calling it a "Pro-type/Proto-type" is another...especially when he claims it has a 4.7 liter engine (unless he somehow dropped a GX 470 engine in there). If it really did have a 4.7 liter engine, it would've been called an LS470, not 430. 
If he was trying to fool someone, the least he could've done is keep his info consistent:
"The car is 100% Lexus it is the 2004 Proto-type."
"2003 Lexus LS430 Pro-type One of a Kind."
Does this look like a turbo 4.7 liter engine to anyone (if they can manage to make out what's exactly in the pic)?

i thought toyota/lexus was trying to move away from turbo'ing their cars and stay towards supercharging and NA??
could this be some sort of freak testbed for the much talked about supra? after all, it would be a 4.7l Turbo and i thik that was sumthing that was talked about in that forum?.

the picture of the engine is directly copied out of lexus website or catalogue. i would say this car is one of the leftovers of the early days when smartkey was an option. so it must be made 2001 or so.
here in europe we have variations between country to country. i was once offered a LS430 from luxembourg - it didnt have seat cooling and the leather didnt have this 100000 holes inside....sweat....
you could buy this car - its a normal LS430 - but cheap!

if this is an engine that claims to have 580 hps(prototype I may add...). How the hell do you test its' potential output when the tires are only "H"-rated?!?!? ..........ohh look guys, the owner's eyes are turning brown he is all most full of "S#!T!!! Sorry boys, at this point I ain't buyin it. More detailed pics and tech reports must be seen.
