Default Addco rear ant-roll bar

The rear anti-sway bar for the UCF-20 will be available as of next week. This is a super low run as 10 bars are stated to be produced. The size will be 7/8" compared to the 9/16" of the stock bar. The chart I have indicates this 7/8" bar will be about 315% stiffer than the stock bar.

If you wish to order this, give Todd at TM Engineering a call:

The bar arrived today with a zinc finish. I dunno my schedule but I hope to install it later this week. The box included the bar and two new bushings...based on their instructions, I use the existing hardware so I hope it is straight forward.

Mike , the end links on the stock bar my be hard to remove do to Locktite on the stut and nut , so a little heat on the nut only will help.................the stut has a allen so you can only use an open/box wrench to remove nut...................Good Luck MIKE

Thanks for the tip Mike. I haven't been under there to look at it yet. Todd had removed the nut on the end links when he installed the rear struts...it shouldn't be to hard to loosen it now. (I hope.)

Need some good tires...as it is now, the touring Michelins are The sway bar will improve handling but the tires won't tolerate it. I had the back-end get loose and it was

The one for the UCF20/21 is #2027.

You can see the difference between the stock and Addco. I think the stock bar is hollow as it weighs approximately 6 pounds. The Addco is at least 20 or so.

Unfortunately my abdominal injury still nags me so this was a painful attempt.

I crawled under the car and it looked simple. Har-har. The stock bar is easily removed however, the upgrade was not so nice going back in. The simpler bend does not lend itself to snaking through the exhaust and clearing other undercarriage obstructions.

The easiest way I think...is to remove both rear mufflers so that it simply bolts right up. Maybe just removing one will do also. I ran out of time as the Mrs. needed the car. I had the stock one in-out in about 20 minutes though.

17mm for the end link nuts and 12mm for the bushing clamps. 6 bolts total.

Frustrating to be so close and not get it all done.

Glad to hear yours is working well.
Can you deflect the bar side to side by hand? If so, how much?
How is body roll now?
