Sammy

Come on No comparison. One is a Brand New car In Lexus Standards and one is a Used car. If the money will not kill you go for the 98, you will NOT regret it. The power, transmission, and all the newr features will just glide you down the road in blissfull happiness.

Thumbs up just bought a loaded '99 LS in mint condition......

........with 48,000 miles for $19,300!! ......There is simply no comparison with the older models. My cousin has a '94 and the difference is like DAY and NIGHT. Every time I feel the 300lb.ft. of torque, I have a REAL big smile plastered on my face!! ......she pulls like a freight train UP a steep grade at 80mph, like some other cars go DOWN that same steep hill!! ....and she does it with no drama whatsoever. Nothing but quietness inside!!.......like all the others said, definitely go for the '98

OTOH, you may consider buying the '94 and gutting it for one of those 2JZ-GTE things.
The practical approach is to not buy a project car like this if you need it for daily transportation.

That is a awsome price for a 98 I paid 21000 for mines 6 months ago but it did come with nav and a few more miles but runs like a dream. I have driven the 94 before and I liked it but I like the UCF20/21 even more.
Go with the 98
