Well...$550 to fix the steering wheel!
Just picked up the LS from the dealership after an oil change and the service advisor told me the motor/spider gears in the steering wheel are worn down and will need to be replaced at $550.
I have the same problem most people have with the wheel sticking in the up-right position when I turn the car on. I do not have time to open up the column and check it out my self.
My question is do you think this is a reasonable price for this?

No way that a 99 Lexus steering wheel motor/spider gears worn out... It has to be some other problem. Beside, spend $250 on the manual and fix it yourself, why pay $550 and don't even have the manual to know what really is the problem
