Well i'm gonna install my CD deck in a couple days. its a 91 ls. Is the amp for the highs behind the stock radio? cuz i think the sub amp was behind the rear seat in the trunk. any one have ideas?

The amp in the trunk runs everything.
Yes that little thing in the trunk runs your all interior speakers and your sub.

in the 96, its supposedly under the front passenger seat...i havent checked tho

On the 94 LS400 "Premium Sound System" the amps for all interior speakers except the sub woofer is built into the radio itself. I know because I just replaced the front amp chip and electrolytic capacitors which were toasted on mine not an hour ago (works beautifully BTW). The subwoofer amp is mounted above the in-trunk cd changer but thats all it runs is the sub.

Yea i found the amp for the highs, its built into the deck. The sub amp is in the trunk.

Can someone please tell me where I can find the amp for the subwoofer in the 94 LS 400 (non-Nak stereo)?

Found it. It was in the trunk on the driver's side, behind the carpet, under the deck, mounted vertically.

Now , for my next question. Does anyone have a stock Pioneer amp for a 94 LS 400?

As far as I know the amp for Pioneer systems in a 91 LS is built into the HU. The sub amp is located in the trunk, driver side of the fuel tank.

I had a stock Pioneer sub amp, but sold it on ebay.

90-94 models: sub amp is in the trunk on the driver's side, behind the big carpeted panel
95-00 models: amp for all speakers is under the front passenger's seat
