JIC Magic FLTA2 Coilovers
Is anybody out there using JIC Magic set-up on their LS?? How are they working out? How do they change handling? Change the ride?
How was the delivery time? Not certain I want to wait the 2 month special order time for the Tein CS coilover. Thoughts? I'm impatient to get the look I like and ride quality I need for the type of driving I do, lot's of Autobahn, lot's of high speed in excess of 120 mph...even the surface streets have average speeds of 70 mph.

Search Function Inc.
Absolutely amazing on highways. Keep the car glued to the ground and make it possible to change 5 lanes in one sharp turn. There is a review that I did earlier on that suspension setup...do a search. Wait till a certain someone does a review on FLTA2 VIP setup in a few days.

The guys with coilover setups (retro and looks to BR1AN is stepping up as well
), with the price of a good set of coilovers, why not go with bag suspension? I am really torn between the two.
Any insight? I know retro went with coilovers for performance reasons...but for a daily "joe" like me who will only drive it to where ever it may take me and probably not gonna show the car what would be a typical and less costly option?

Whatever happened to your set before the VIP FLT A2? did you sell that as well?
And are the JIC's available with dampening adjustability or is it just height adjustable?

johnnyc, if you're looking to ride in comfort on the Autobahn, then go with Tein CS. But if you're looking for performance and almost the same amount of comfort as the Tein CS, then definitely go with JIC FLT-A2's. As the saying goes, "good things come to those who wait"...but things couldn't be better than the FLT-A2's in terms of performance gains.

The SF-1 setup? Sold to cutecboy and sold again on ebay after he went with air cylinders.
FLT-A2's have 15 way adjustable dampening and 2 adjustment points (spring perch and lower bracket) for height.

Al little behind the times the curve here....finally decided on the Tein CS. Looking forward, I figred I might decide I want to electronically control the dampening some day. That was really the final deciding factor. Heard good about both. Now, I just wait the month or so until I get my stuff and can hook up car...Thanks to Todd at TM engineering for answering lots of questions.
