Default suspension problems.90LS

I always seem to have suspension problems all the time.A month ago I had the "clunk" sound when you hit the brakes and I fixed that issue by changing the strut bar in the front.This is a common problem in the first gen LS and it runs from under the radiator to the lower control arm.I am now having some other noise in the front when I go over pot holes or bumps.What is the common suspension issues with the 90LS in the front suspension?This is just when I go over pot holes or bumps.I also see a bar that runs from the left wheel to the right wheel and it may be attached to the lower control arm in the front.Could the bushings on this bar be the problem? I also having the same issue with the back.I have replaced almost every arm in the back except the lower contol arm in the back and the arm that adjusts that alignment.I even changed the spindle since the have their own bushings.I am a DIY guy.
Any ideas or has someone had this same issue?

common problem with clunking etc. Try a search.. I hafta do mine too...STOP BITING ME MOD BUG!

Most likely it's your bushings, they are rubber pieces in the control arms designed to help braking, handling, and that soft Lexus ride.

A dealer repalcement will run quite a bit of money since they don't sell the bushings separetly. The plus to buying new ones is that you would get new control arms if one of yours is damaged by chance - which seems rare unless you've been in an accident. The down side being cost.

The other recently common fix is new poly-graphite bushings made by Daizen. They will help with the things above, but are slightly stiffer than the factory OEM rubber bushings. It is though, much better than riding on worn out/disentigrated bushings. These will need to be greased eventually but then, so does everything else under the frame.

Another possibility may be improperly installed springs/struts.

Default Try replacing the rubber bushings to your front sway bar.

This is not expensive and easy to do. Replace the rubber bushings to your front sway bar. There are two bushings. Very easy job and very little dissassembly required. Remove the two brackets holding the bushings, slip the old bushings off, slip the new bushings on, retighten the two brackets.

Default sway bar?

You guys may be right about the upper control arm because the front fish tails on the passenger side.I just have to test the play in the wheel on that side.Which bar is the sway bar in the front?.I am eager to replace the bushings as you stated.Where can I get the bushings other than the dealer?Any pics out there that someone can post of the sway bar and the bushing location?I am not sure about this but the bad control arm may be causing the steering wheel to vibrate when the brake is depressed.(40mph).

check out this link.#9 in the pic is the sway bar bushing in the back.Would someone have a pic of the sway bar bushing in the front?.I am thinking it is the long bar that runs from the left to the right of each wheel and the bushings are at the end of the bar but I may be wrong.
