Default about to own a 99 LS400

my wife bought a 98 es300 w/ 80k and i love her car. sooo i'm jealous and i'm
about to buy a one owner 99 ls400 trade in w/ 117k. it's had the belt/wp, etc changed at 92k and has all the Lexus dealer service records. i also had new tires put on before purchasing and the tilt fixed.

what are some things to look for as i drive this baby?
i'm excited about owning this car, especially coming off a 99 Stratus for 8 years.

any Goldwing riders out there?

thanks

mike

pray it doesn't have the OEM navi since that is just a pain to use and doesnt really get updated anymore (and updates were RIDICULOUSLY expensive back when they were updated regularly)

other than that, as long as it was maintained you'll be set.

stuff to look out for:
-radio display blacking/fading, common, relatively cheap to fix.
-suspension clunks going over bumps, more involved, <$400-500, front and rear strut rod/carrier arm bushings

everything else shoulda been done with maint.

Red face

it doesn't have the Navi nor the air suspension.
i love all the room it has. the Nakamichi stereo sounds great.
smooth and quiet ride.

a little over 11k but I had them do some work to it: brand new tires, new hood struts, new windshield, fixed tilt.

all documented service work at Lexus stealer and one owner.

i'm hopeful.

That seems to be about the right number for a clean car like yours. It's better to pay a few more and get a "real one" than hold back and end up paying more in the long run for many odds and ends. Enjoy your car. It looks like a winner.
