Default Heater Controls 94' LS

I am having problems with the heater controls in my 94' LS. The main problem appears to be with the servo actuator for the heater control valve. I recently diagnosed the problem by removing the cable from the heater control valve at the firewall. The cable was sticking and not allowing the valve to operate. I tried to lube the cable and was somewhate successful in freeing the cable up quite a bit. Now when the climate control system tries to adjust the heater control valve, a loud clicking noise comes from the dash area. It sounds like the servomotor is stuck or stripped out in some way. Is this something that can be replaced? Is it possibly a DIY type of job? Any guidance would be appreciated.
